Dr. Sabretta G. Alford is a social work researcher, educator, and consultant who works with organizations and communities to strengthen programs and services through research and evaluation. She holds a PhD in Social Welfare and Research from the CUNY Graduate Center.

Sabretta has extensive experience leading research and evaluation projects across nonprofit, educational, and social service organizations. Her work includes survey design, program evaluation, needs assessments, and helping organizations better understand and improve the services they provide.

Sabretta teaches graduate-level courses at various institutions within the City University of New York (CUNY). Her courses include Research Methods, advanced statistical analysis, Professional Seminar (Thesis Development), Intellectual Disabilities in Social Work Practice, and Introduction to Disability Services, Delivery, and Systems.

Sabretta's research interests include intellectual and developmental disabilities, social work education, and improving service systems that support individuals with disabilities and their families.

Sabretta is a licensed social worker and provides consultation and training for professionals and organizations working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

Sabretta is currently accepting consulting contracts, research collaborations, training opportunities, and program evaluation projects.
