AI Literacy: Beyond LLM

Artificial Intelligence is transforming education, healthcare, business, social services, and nearly every profession. Yet many individuals believe they know how to use AI simply because they can ask it questions. In reality, effective AI use requires strategy, critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and the ability to communicate with AI using precise language. InsightBridge LLC's AI for Beginners training goes beyond any single platform, helping participants build real AI literacy — not just familiarity with one tool. Participants get hands-on with several of today's leading AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Genspark, NotebookLLM, DeepSeek, and Grok, learning what each one does well and when to reach for it.

What Participants Will Learn
Participants learn the basics of how AI works, how to use it ethically and responsibly, and how to spot bias, misinformation, and made-up answers. Training covers how to write clear, specific prompts — since the words you choose shape the quality of what you get back — along with practical ways to apply AI to real work in education, healthcare, social work, nonprofits, business, and research, all while keeping human judgment front and center. Participants also learn when a free, open tool like DeepSeek is enough for the task at hand, and when a document-grounded tool like NotebookLM is the better fit for research and writing.
Why This Training Is Different
Most people never get past basic back-and-forth questions with AI, without realizing there's a better way to work with it. This training shows participants how to turn AI into a real professional assistant — one that can help with writing, planning, research, presentations, and problem-solving. Rather than teaching one platform in depth, participants leave knowing how to move between tools like Claude for careful writing and analysis, Perplexity or Grok for research pulled from current sources, and NotebookLM for working directly from their own documents — all while keeping sight of the fact that AI is a tool, not a replacement for professional judgment.
Available Specialized Workshops
Beyond the introductory course, InsightBridge LLC also offers focused workshops on specific platforms and professional applications, including ChatGPT for professional practice, Claude for research and writing, Genspark for presentations and reports, AI for social workers, AI for higher education faculty, AI for nonprofits, prompt engineering, and responsible AI use.
